Sorry Barry, it was great.  Over 100 builders and players, the worlds largest tomato, MTV, ABC, the History channel, a free Iowa beef steak fry, sweet corn, home churned ice cream, Gitty with giveaways, just lots of swag.  Oh and groupies!  It was wild.  Trust me, I'm a cbg player.

If you ever want to come to Harlan we can see if we can duplicate it.

Wow !!  Dave .  Dr. Walter Chase delivered me , my older brother and my mother ! His wife Pearl worked in the office .   The population of Rippey is about the same as that time , 300 people. My family has been there since 1876 .   What a small ,crazy, world we live in !!!

Rippey Iowa? Uncle John? Some of my family lived in Rippey. Paul and David Chase are my cousins. There dad is my Uncle, Walter. He used to be the doctor there. Good place for a Fest if you'd ask me? .... Dave
