i also  even iron it *after the paper is pealed off . "carefully" but firmly  right on the  image . to smooth out any rough spots .  using the tip of the iron mostly .   and constantly wiping the  iron  of any residue it may  pick up .

this is  risky  . i would practice   first  . and i wouldnt  use the iron on clothes afterwards  .

but its what i do.

I've uses the dark shirt stuff so far....mostly because I didn't know which one to use. Both guitars needed more of a shiny new look so polyurethane over it was what it needed. The first one turned out great. This one, I'm sure I didn't hear it evenly or long enough. It seems pretty finicky on wood. I'm thinking about the paper because, well it leaves out the ironing step.

I have never  used the dark shirt transfers  ,  just the regular ones , so results may vary  there , but i also don't polyurethane them , cause , well... it's a t shirt transfer  , they go in the wash and take wear and tear  as designed . its it's own sealer .  i believe ron (oily) polyurethaned his  and noted the image and  masked area  got much darker  ,  ( too dark ) .

nope on the sticker paper .

I'm working on a Harley theme guitar. I'm using the t-shirt iron on technique you told me about. Have you ever had trouble with it bubbling up when you put polyurethane on it? Have you ever used sticker paper?

I love seeing the different themes on your guitars. This one is cool. I remember back in the 80s, they were doing 3D movies on tv. This was one of the movies they did
