SNAFU
Preamp/jack bezel installed... for the second time. First attempt was obviously not in the desired position... AKA upside-down. Now there is a hole to cover up.

The pickguard I made for it covered it up nicely (see other pic) and it looks pretty decent too. It came out looking like it was supposed to have a pickguard there haha

I know how you feel. I just airbrushed fret markings on a lap steel build today. I made the most elaborate mark on the fretboard on the 23rd fret... oops. That would drive a steel player crazy... I've figured out how to save the situation. Tomorrow, back to airbrush... the fix...
