Trying out an idea I came up with so you don't have so much of the box volume taken up by the neck. Feels very stiff.

The finished guitar is the salmon box guitar in the video I posted.  Sounds great and is holding up well.  The neck can be unbolted and taken apart if anyone would ever want to.

The support is a hollow steel tube with a threaded rod going all the way through with a nut. There is a top for this box that will be glued on when it is all done.

What are you using for the support? That is a brilliant idea.

My thought was to leave this acoustic. I may add a piezo before it is all said and done, but I want it to play nice acoustic.

Until it is complete and strung up I won't know for sure how well it will work. It feels very strong and stiff put together like this.

think this will work really good boss, is this for an acoustic guitar so the sound board has noting on it ? you think you will put a pickup in this guitar ?

Nice idea, a bit more involved than I could do but looks like it will work well. I wonder how the metal internal neck will effect the sound? hmm.
