Old Lady Electromuse lap steel
She came today from PA. Old, scratched and in need of some love. She'll get it. And She works! I'll be using her for a model, like my other collected laps, to build from.

Today I played her till she died. Not forever, just the chord gave it up. Old crusty cloth chord. At the weak spot, where the chord enters the body. I'll get a new cloth chord tomorrow and see what she looks like inside.

Thanks bluesheart, The wood is beautiful on her. I'll put some new strings on her tomorrow. This set is rusty. I haven't stressed the tuners yet either. I just put her in a deep bass minor to hear her moan. Pots need cleaning and I don't think the tone pot changes the tone (story of my life). ...
