Bill, it's a 23 incher. That's the same as my Silvertone model. The outline of the fretboard and cover plate are clearly visible in the old finish so i can trace those off my model. I'll use wood (Padauk) for the plate and Walnut for the fretboard. I'll do airbrush fret markings in white on the dark wood similar to my #21 lap steel project. I've got two other 23" fretboards to scribe off the markings by using a T square bridging across the two boards. I find this way is easy and quick.

this is sweet, i love playing lap steel, and love makin them even more, but this one is very nicely done great lines shape, what scale did you make it
