Laminate for fret lines on Padouk Neck

I bought a roll of 1 inch wide melanite laminate for use on the edges of countertops. $5 for 100 feet at HD.
Cut fret slot - crazy glue little strip of laminate in (fits fret slot exactly) - let dry - trim edges and sand flush. Makes a nice clean line.
Got my Padouk at Willard Brothers here in NJ - nice guys and wide selection.
