yea this form of deturant works really well when i had this gal i would carry her in one of my saddle bags in a pillow case, i released her when she got 12foot 8inches long.....(she was very well fed and always placid with me)

I have a friend in Texas who has done this with a rattlesnake in a burlap bag on the floor of his car. He said you can leave the windows down, tools on the seat and people won't mess with any of it. They can't see the snake but they can hear it rattle.
