I finally got around to trying a laser etched rosette. I think it is rather smart looking.

Thanks, I used Corel Draw to make the concentric rings and weave fill graphic, then used a Epilog laser etcher to raster the design and vector cut the sound hole. I also use it to make my headstock inlays.
