Hey Vick, thanks for your kind words!

To avoid the fret buzz, which is mainly due to uneven frets, I use a grindstone. That big block levels them.

@ SlowHound: I think the reason why on Vick's build there isn't such a *clicking* is that the hand rests on the metal plate while playing. I did some research in forums and found out that there are a lot of comments about that. In my builds also I notice that clicking. The reason is a static discharge from your body to the ground when you touch the strings. I will consider some kind of metal handrest in future builds to avoid that static discharge.

@Dave - thanks, I was really intentional about trying to save as much of the graphics as I could.

@SlowHound - Surprisingly, no ground issues at all.  I was really concerned with the metal tin body, but it sounds amazingly clean.  I love those Elmar pups, got a 3-string version I'm gonna use on another git.  Plus, I've got another whiskey tin I'm using for a lap steel design that will incorporate a 6-string flat-pup.

My first time installing frets - I've got a buzz around the 4th fret on the 2nd string which is a bit annoying, but it sounds dandy with a slide.  Currently tuned to Open E with a set of CB Gitty medium electric strings.
