How did u get the neck to hold the string tension? Do u use a truss rod? Is the action low?

Maple neck and body. Artec preamp. DR Neon Yellow Strings. Brass and wood  bridge with embedded rod piezo. Brass nut. Zero fret. Individual string brass tailpiece.  28" scale.  Like double bass sound, more bright.
