I never thought I'd get into electric, but I have to admit building a few, electric is natural. I like the knobs, vintage pickups and new handwound pickups by JuJu and Ted Crocker that fit 1, 2, 3 and 4 string wonders. I don't get wiring exactly yet, but my boxes work and some are excellent. With piezos you can get some great inexpensive dual pickups for under the bridge or right in the bridge. All of the ones I've made with piezos sound great. They sound very acoustic. I don't have any of the sound effects, just cheap $20 amps. Try electric...

I vote electric. You'll be blown away by hearing your creation over an amp!

Thanks all for the complements! The learning process has begun and I'm ready for #2.Not sure if I should build another acoustic or go electric this time.
