Gluing the top 1

The instrument was so off symetrical that extra work was required to try to force it back into line. A center line was drawn on a board. The neck was lined up with the centerline and clamped. The top was slid under the body. Other clamps were applied to shove the body back into line. Is this going to work? Hmmm....

Without a doubt, I'm building a jig for A-frames next time I try something like this. I'd love to wee what your jig looks like.

Hi Alan.

The next time I build a paddle box, I'll build a jig to help form the sides. I had pretty good results with the jig I build for the mountain dulcimer that I'm currently working on. Maybe building a jig first can help your builds, too.
