yes, its granite, not sure how thick the layer is....they were availiable for 2 to 3 grand, but i was facing a layoff after the plant i worked at shut down..so it was never an option for me

used to talk to a guy online that made granite topped guitars,,,,always wanted one. they were any heavier than a normal guitar...beautiful
dont know if he still makes them...it was called stone tone guitars
