My latest 6 string CBG pickup with etched brass housing. I can also try to etch custom pictures or patterns on demand on 3, 4 and 6 string guitar pickups. Feel free to ask ;-)

yep USD ;-)
great i will work on the design thanks is that US dollars ?
I like that idea. The brass cover looks much more shiny than the originals, which would suit some builds really well.
sure! let's exchange on the datails on private message. You could prepare the design you think of and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. The custom etched Flatpup 3 would be the same as for the wooden frame one, 37$ plus 8$ for shipping - an introduction offer. The 4 brass screws go for free as well.
Please note that the brass covers are as wide as the wooden ones, but 7mm less broad - an advantage!
so could i replace my other one with this easy ? either way how much would one for a 3 string be with Lal etched on it
thanks lal! i've checked it out togehter with an experienced luthier; we both came to the conclusion that the brass housing hadn't changed the sound characterisitcs noticibly.
We had the slight impression that it would sound not as spicy but more balanced towards the mids. Being handwound, the different winding patterns could also be an influencing factor.
All in all, I'm ok with that, it fits the concept of being more elegant than the sharp spicy bare ones.
i love it i have one of your other ones does it give the same sort of sound ?
