Wish I could lay my hands on scraps of mahogany like that..I've developed the habit of checking out skips on my way to the pub without any luck

ah Fred, I'm not as clever as you , The fretboard is a piece of mahogany edging for flush doors, I cut the slots then stained with red mog. and jacobean dark oak, the neck is a slat from an old bunk bed ,and the body a piece of scrap that was about to go on the fire,I made the body as big as it would allow. shape based on  Harmony H 44. thanks again,,,:)

Like that,simple and classy, especially the mahogany fret markers inlaid into the ebony(?) fingerboard

pup is a little too high, and it can't go lower without me chopping a bit out but it'll come right in the end, as for a suntan it's been raining over here for weeks...thanks for looking in ...
