Terrible news re Smash it Up. I know they must be sick of it but its what the crowd want.

That's right Col, they started the first album which was the 1977 Rat & James era when I first saw them, but last night with Sensible on lead guitar he just didn't get the Brian James licks that make those songs so special...then they did Back album and at times it was like listening to Emerson Lake & Palmer...still glad I went but... well it's just never gonna be the same 35 yrs on is it....Anyway I'm into fresh new stuff now..just added a few new albums to my ipod ready for my holiday, Slowpaw Steve...Brickdust and Pyno and another one called Sour Mash...that ones quite good I'll get you a copy.

On this tour they are doing 2 sets, set 1 is the whole of their first album, set 2 is the whole of the Black album.

I am with you guys, "Smash it up" is on their best album "Machine Gun Etiquette", which has all of their best tracks on it!

I did listened to the Black album and can`t face it, I`m not going!

Now if they did the "Machine Gun Etiquette", I would be there!
