No worries, Dick. This is the first rod piezo bridge I've ever made, so I'm in uncharted waters too. Randy, however, is the go to guy for all things rod piezo. Check out his profile page and take a look at his stuff, and you'll see what I mean. He's the man to talk to.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Gonna wire it up and assemble the guit tomorrow - then we'll see how it sounds.

Thanx guys,  I'm new to all of this and trying to soak it all in.  Ignorance is misery.

The rod works by string pressure....bridge base [ rod slot ] then the rod is laid in the slot , then the bone saddle is laid on the rod the pressure from the strings pushing downward on the saddle produces the sound...nothing is glued !!

There's a rod piezo under the bone saddle, Dick. That's what the cable goes to.

Is there a Pickup under it or is that cable just "hangin' around"?

Outstanding. Clean, classic and beautiful.

Thanks guys! I'm really happy with it - so far. I only hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Sorry, Tim, but I'm not selling the bridges. I make all of my bridges for specific guitar builds. Randy S Bretz, on the other hand, does sell them. He really does some awesome work too. Check him out here on The Nation.
