Thanks guys!  UJ - the fretting is based on this thread: http://www.cigarboxnation.com/group/dulciworld/forum/topics/what-ab... with four strings, open tuning.  Funny thing is, I was originally going to use a "standard" diatonic fretting, then just as I was about to cut the first fret slot, changed my mind, thinking I should try something different.  Figured if it didn't work I could always add the other chromatic frets.

Turns out, I can actually PLAY this one!

It looks great, Hal.  Beautiful woods and work.  ?But dulcimers are usually 3 strings.?   Looks diatonically fretted.

Thanks!  I literally just finished it today, that's why I haven't trimmed the strings, LOL.  I've just recently started adding venners to my builds - they can be a challenge to fill and get flat, but this one came out nice. I wish the pictures did it justice.
