I've been meaning to try this idea for an easy compensated bridge for a while. So finally got around to it and it works great.

Thansk for the detailed how-to. I need to try this.

Comment by Glenn Reither on May 14, 2012 at 8:54am Oily, I flat one side of the bolt, cut into 4 pieces, tune up and get the 12th fret in tune, glue 'em down. I usually forget to glue down non-compensated bridges, but it would be a total pain to have 4 little bits rolling across the floor on a string change :)

Neat, easy idea! I like. So, how do you set the compensation - just roll 'em 'til the intonation is correct for each string? Then mark and glue 'em down? Or are they "free flaoting"
