Thanks 'Tom', 'Pick' & 'Uncle John'.

The wooden soundboard/reso under the bridge, was at first, also a hand hammered Baked Bean Can bottom, but sounded pretty crappy on this particular build, so was replaced, and NO! the Piano is not ready to lie down and die in the near future, it's still got a lot of life left in it.

Hard thin, body.   Great wood tones.   Probably the finest recycled saw horse neck any of us has seen!   Bean cab reso.   I think the parts and description are about the most entertaining I have read. 

Is that piano ever going to die?
