#20 Diddley Bow strung

Getting real close. She sings and she's still smiling. Fret markers and a heal neck brace to make. Otherwise she's done.

Ya Bluesheart, it was a lot of work, more than most any of my builds. It was JUJUs pup that made me do it... (.)(.)

I took her to music tonight and played her all evening. She sounds great. JUJUs pup works really well. This thing rocks with a light stick and a heavy bar. I'm using a sunflower stalk dried and varnished about the size of a fat pencil but longer. It takes a beating, but your instrument doesn't. I just re varnish it from time to time. I'll be more happy when I get my details taken care of. I'm going to add a dark laminate between the two parts of the control box. Airbrush the fret markers. Add a heal. Tomorrow...
