If you enjoy three string guitars, this is the place!

Hi Folks, This is the group to share everything about the three string guitar.

If you have had problems in the past playing regular guitar, try playing a three string guitar, they are much easier and the have a vintage sound that is super unique and easy to capture that old school blues sound.

There is another website on the net that has a lot more 3 string guitar information. Here is the link to the website  3-string-guitar.com

Hello there.I am a three stringer now.I only answer to hey three stringer!I am hooked for life. This music changed my life,I mean that.My first listen was John Mcnair, blew me away.I think I listened at least 15 times in a row.It was the one with the video of what looked like an old plantation, inside and outside the house.WOW!!!!!!!!!This is a photo of one of my creations with my own hand made pickup.Hope you like it.

Wanted to say hello and I am a three stringer all the way.. I love the easy play and the sounds you get from such a simple three string.

yes my freind give it a try , dont have the spool too far away or the wire will be rubbing on the floor / ground ! - could pick up dirt or get cought / snagged and break the wire !

if you have been trying in the past to wind pickups have you been letting the wire try and turn the spool ? - if so this is why your wire breaks - the wire is too thin to turn the weight of the spool

hope it works out for you this way
juju.

Hey Oliver , thanks for the comments , yes the wire breaks very easy , you have to go steady with it and not apply too much tension to the wire or speed , also you have to keep your spool of wire laid down Horizontal to the winder - i use a metal rod to put my spool of wire on , and the spool of wire is five Feet away from the Winder - have a look at the photos hope they explain a little better for you juju.

Hey
