Yup, I just googled that and it looks exactly like what I had. The crazy thing is I found it sitting in a repo'd truck bed at my old job. Not even in a case. But, it will be reborn as a Frankenstein git.

sounds like you  had the "tulip"   model   simular  to  shane's  below  but  un modified  .

Just joined this group to tell my tale of Teisco. Evidently I had either a replica or real one, before I even knew anything about these guitars. The headstock had no name of any kind and the whole neck was trashed. The body was still in good shape but I took everything off and set it aside. Since then I have lost the pups and wiring. Given away the plastic shield part with all the flower designs. And cut up the body to retro fit the solid body I am building for my daughter. Anyway, I would have liked to have been informed while I had everything in front of me those years ago. But, you all know the saying about hindsight.

teisco tin toy ---  up grade  ;-)

Find more videos like this on Cigar Box Nation

yup , its all TIN .. neck too ;-)

this little tin gem was made by a subdivision of teisco for sears in the 60’s , as a more affordable guitar for kids. Just an Acoustic tin guitar made to look electric with fake pickups etc .. .
as you can tell , i “ jerry rigged” it and added some attitude and electrified it .
.... i may never go back to cbgs now .. lol .
This thing is 20 pounds of fun in a 5 pound bag ;-)

Sorry My recording set up sucks , it sounds much better live . ;-)

i'll probably do some tweeking and swap out the strings etc .. later .. this was just a taste test ;-)
hope ya like it ;-)
