What's a good replacement jack socket for an instrument with the jack socket mounted flush on the pickguard? In many cases the rout isn't deep enough for a regular Switchcraft, and most of these…Continue

keep in mind also that teisco supplied simpson sears and other stores with models . the stores were given a base model guitar with with a choice of add on options . sears etc .. could pick what features they wanted or not and what changes to make . hence in the xmas catalouge next years model would look like an up grade etc etc . usually badged under "silvertone " and other names .. stores could even pick names at one point . sears usually badaged their sears logo on the back plate also , or on a sticker under it .. (these stickers are easily removed .
woolworths etc .. did not badage their name ..
also .. many guitars are mistaken for teisco .. ie ; " st george" is not a teisco .. but has simular models /shapes etc .
I've had like 5 or 6 ET310's all different body/headstock I've also had like 3 or 4 E200's & 2 or 3 ET300's all varied from year to year, never da same. I don't know if they did it on purpose or jus threw whatever badges they had left on them or what?
That factory was so weird they didn't even keep track of serial #'s & dating, it's real odd for a guitar company? this is why the only way to really date them is by the dates on da pots.
They were always changing from year to year same number different look?
No there are no badge designating model or serial# like yours. And no evidence of one ever being on it. Maybe it has something to do with the fact it was marketed under the matador name rather than "Teisco Del Ray" or whatever. When I google that guitar model number I get slightly different looking guitars. Is that because of a difference between ET310 from like 1964 compared to 1965 or something?
Yea 4 out of 5 guitars from those companies were entry level/student guitars,
it's harder to find more deluxe models. I've got a student bass with a short scale like that these were their pre-teen models. it's hard as hell to find the original knobs for these things, I find em' sometimes in junk boxes @ used guitar stores.
