Comment by ron carlson on June 23, 2013 at 5:08am: Hey, I just picked up a Teisco E-120 Del Ray. I believe it's a Del Ray anyway. This one has a model badge on the back that id's it as a E-120 but has the Checkmate decal on the headstock and not the Teisco one.

It's got a zero fret neck that's straight and true, low action and plays nice. Single pickup on this one. I'm just a hack but the guy I picked it up from was really tearing it up on this thing and it sounds really cool. Very unique tone played through a tube amp.

I was wondering if someone could answer a question about this guitar. It has a wood and brass rod bridge and I was curious to know if that is stock or it just found it's way on there at some point? I was Googling some photos of Teisco's and didn't find one with this type of bridge. The seller wasn't sure either. He picked it up at a garage sale several years ago and wasn't the original owner.
