Yep - had to look her up myself. And still got the gig despite me saying the words "fat c*** ' over the PA at the gig we got spotted at !

I use french polish on my "distressed" guitars - gives them a worn smoky bar look but it's also useful for improving the finish gernerally.  Be careful with it though and follow the instructions!  The bass look sgreat btw

Brian the neck is one of the peices of teak I had from a friend of mine its really good to work with I was going to bring som down for you when I stayed in Devon but you lived so far away from Bideford I didn't see the point lol!! Thanks for the advice I will try french polish this weekend.
