I'd just like to add my thanks to Chickenbone John and his tea-brewing, instrument-playing crew. THANKS!
To the performers: THANKS! Perhaps a special mention for BluesBeaten Redshaw, who managed to turn in an 'in-your-face' performance and chat-up a young lady at the same time. Impressive.
Oh, yes... We all need to THANK the fine gentleman who sat in with the performers and did good work on the snare and harp.

Great event, great people, great music.

I'm putting some photos on the UK 2009 CBG event discussion. Might be good if everyone else did too to keep it all together and easy to find. Maybe put any Youtube/vid links in there too.

Yes, Smith and Jackson are a most excellent duo...real old timey guitar picking from Pete and the most sublime singing from Jacqui..totally totally enrapturing..don't be a stranger at The Crosroads Blues Club..do come and see us again!!!

Pete won that guitar weeks ago ..I'd put it up in the raffle for the club's 2nd anniversary.. Pete was absolutely delighted to win it and I'm so pleased he's putting it to good use

John I was talking to Ju Ju and Mark C and I have discuused it before about sharing a stall at a guitar show. I just know there would be people out there that would go crazy for some of our stuff. I went to the Penrith show in August with a wedge of CBG profits money looking for somthing tasty to buy. Some beautiful but to me very boring stuff. Nothinbg much out of the ordinary. In the end I bought a box of Strat bits and bobs, neck and body for £25 to make a Ratocaster.

Well What can i say that aint been said ? , well i think you can tell by the responces that everyone had a cracking weekend , from start to finish i was on a constant Buzz , it was fantastic to meet everyone at last and everyone i met was first class
Thanks to Chickenbone and his great bunch of helpers for a fantastic weekend , and a special thanks to Chickenbone for Friday nites outing , Curry and beer's with a little rockabilly gig thrown in for good measure cheers mate !
for a first CBG Fest you did us proud John - next years is gonna be a killer of a fest !
No worries Smojo mate you deserved to win the pickup mate i know you will do it justice
i would also like to thank Ben (Randy Rooster ) firstly for the lift down and back and just for been such a cool & funny guy in genral cheers mate much appriciated
thanks again everybody who organized and turned up to make the weekend as good as it was , hope to see you all again next year !
