I'll be sleeping in my van again mate, but this time I'll try and stay for the morning after Rock'n Rollers breakfast...I feel I missed out last time.

Boxstock accommodation...Smithfield Hotel & Bar 2 doors away from B.O.T.W  rooms @ £25 a night

Or maybe the HGMC could branch out into hotel managment / ownership... :o)

I think Premier Inn does the same. It happened last year with Boxstock. We should all agree to get a quote and book at exactly the same moment.

Holiday Inn - I'm darn sure this is the way they do things...same thing happened a while back when I got a quote online...£49 one day...try and book, and all of a sudden 48 hours later its £79.  I'm not one for conspiracy theories, but I reckon their system detects 'demand' in the form of enquiries then jacks up the price when you come back to make the booking...botheration!!

If anyone is coming to the Devon gig there is a Premier Inn nearby currently quoting £77 per room on 14th July

Don't know if this helps, but if there is a Premier Inn nearby, you don't have to pay anything until you check out.

Re, accomodation Boxstock '12, I wrang Holiday Inn this afternoon to start the booking process, and they told me the rooms would cost £105 each because of 'demand' not the£67 I was quoted a few months ago, so I told them they had priced themselves out of the market for me. Anyway I then wrang Travellodge Ancoats and said the cheapest they could do was £52.95 per room for 2 + £7.65 for brekkie pp. Parking and venue not 2 faraway. I can block book for 10 but they need 10%- £5.30 for each room balance paid on the day. Those who have asked me to book rooms already is this deal o.k.? 'G'.
