I found this Harmony H802 in a Pawn Shop for 26 dollars..It was a mess!!...all there but a mess... It had a weird backbow in the neck ....lucky it had a trustrod...the pickguard was broken up so I added a piece where the jack goes...replaced the bridge... cleaned it up... and adjusted the truss rod and the neck straighted right up ..all electronics are original... pickups are alittle microphonic but still sound Cool!! I think this might be from the 80's... tuned open D and G!! RL

sweet !!! ala yum yum ;-)
I just sold one of these Teisco Harmonys to a good musician here in Duluth. Teague Alexy is his name. My Harmony had a complete pick guard in the shape made by the shadow on your guitar. This guit is a great one for sound and he loved the neck being wider than most Teiscos and the neck is real good and strait. He bought a diddley bow of my making also. It was a real treat when he came over and played many of my electrics and homebuilt guits. I see this model Harmony going for real low money on ebay. I don't know why, but they are a real bargain for what you get. Thanks for showing RL.
Thank Guys!! Yeah the neck is alittle chunky on this one...Nice for capoing with plenty of room up the neck ...I guess its not a real popular model... the pickup sound somewhere between a P90 and a Strat pup...in a good way!!
RL, what's not "a real popular model" today, is the collectable of the next decade and the vintage just a little later. I've watched it in cars over the years. Fox body Mustangs were considered trash 10-15 years ago, Now the prices are zooming.
very nice...
How did you get the pictures to show up in your post?
