Thanks a lot! This will be my project over the holidays, if I get the tubes.
I see, you are from Tallinn, I'm from Berlin - not so far away, word is getting smaller! YEAH!
No, the circuit is no secret at all - just ordinary two tube gain stages like in Fender Champ or others. And I remembered it wrong - it runs on 12V DC not 24V. I made several mods during building and i think the one in picture below had simple tone control - 10n cap from volume pot to ground. Building your own is fun - It's so simple circuit and with point to point wiring and not being afraid to loose the resale value of original boutique pedal you can experiment with different components and values .
Here's the schematic as i remember building it last
Cool! I bought the "Mutterstolz" Peal right now, I think its close in the idear, works with ECC83.... Is your circuit a secret? It would be more fun to build a tube overdrive be my own...
Gobi, it's kind of a three in one pedal - boost, overdrive and fuzz. Fuzz is generated with germanium diodes after two tube gain stages by activating left foot switch. There's Volume knob in the middle (it goes to eleven ;-) ), Gain and Tone (Big Muff Pi) knobs. Tube is 12 AT7 running from 24 Volts DC
Hey Argo, what exactly is it? A Tube Fuzz?
I've benn absent for a long time, wow, a lot of cool stuff is showing up here!
Nice RATS Eric & Argo!!!!!!
Some of my rats
