Yes. One bass string and three guitar strings. The bass is usually tuned to E; The three guitar strings E/b/e. They all have the same scale length so a slide can be applied across all 4 strings.

 

I handled his guitar just a week or two ago and the guitar strings are pretty light!

Hi all. Can anyone help. I have been trrying figure out pAts string configuration. It looks like a single bass string then 3 standard guitar strings. Any help much appreciated. Thanks Prof.
