Big Guy, could you post a picture of the L shaped fret. Not exactly sure how you mean it, but it sounds cool.

I you want to go old school on your fret job use finishing nails. Bend them into an "L" shape and hammer them into place. Works great!

Love old school, I know I'm new to this but I like to keep mine simple in the old school tradition. No frets or piezo's so far. (not that they are bad, just not old school)
