Bought a cheap Piezo from ebay with a tone and volume prewired. When it arrived the tone pot has no resistor on it. Not managed to try it yet but I thought a tone pot would not work without a resistor ?

Looking for a cheap(ish) source for planetary style tuners. Not the friction peg style, actual geared tuners that aren't 90 degrees. Need 4. Any clues?

Anyone got suggestions for a cheap control plate? 

Looking for something that can hold 3 knobs and a jack, preferably metal.
