My first lap dance
I have built a 4 string cbg that turned out awsome. Acoustic, but very nice tone. Arthritis is a problem so Im trying a lap steel. Ive always liked them so off we go. Big OLD yellow pine door frame recycled. Rose wood frt board with maple in-layed frets. Yeah Im a glutton for punishment. Heres what Ive got so far. ;-)

Thanks, I saw an inlayed one somewhere and liked the look. Ive never done inlay work. Kind of cool to figure it out and see it working. Im Doing a 6 string for this one. I have the parts already. If it goes well mabey more on another. Making progress.
