I'm also an independent filmmaker and am currently hunting for some good original CBG music for a movie I'm making. I'm looking for something upbeat and rural, folk/bluegrass (Monsters of Folk, Mumford and Sons, Bela Fleck, etc.). If anybody knows where I can find some, or has some they'd be interested in having me check out, please let me know. Thanks!

I took to it as soon as it came out of the box, I haven't really stopped playing it since I got it... I never thought of myself as a guitar person, I play a lot of other instruments as well but I can't seem to put this little guitar down!!... Have fallen in love with the delta blues sounds of the cgb. Recovering from knee surgery (temporary pita) and will soon be starting to build #1. Have some quarter sawn white oak and will probably build the box myself with 3/16 cedar sides and 1/16 cedar top and bottom. Any suggestions for box size? I want as much acoustic sound as possible. Have a nice CB and a 48" oak 1x2, a couple of trash First Act Discovery guitars for some hardware and have been reading your posts frequently. Hope to start the build within the week.

Typically play bass, but also have a solid body uke I thrash around on occasionally. Want to build a three-string guitar and convert one of the guitars to a baritone uke, so will be haunting the hallowed halls of CBN for tips ideas and information.

Love the stuff you all create and play!

I also play acoustic guitar, banjo, dulcimer, and a few other random instruments. Finished up my CBG on sunday. She's a pretty basic fretless three string, but she sounds fantastic. Her name is Pandora. :D I'm planning on building another in a couple of weeks. When I stop being lazy, I'll try and post some pictures. :D
