Hi, I'm a new member. (just joined today!) Here's a picture of my first CBG, built from a montecristo box and a small cigar box amp, which I also made. I'm already thinking about my next build - I have quite a nice Oliva box (28x 14x4cm). Wondering whether this will be big enough?

Wow I almost thought I wrote that comment that's two below me... but I couldn't remember xD
Anyway, I'm Sander and I'm from Holland too. I saw an instructable on instructables about cigar box guitars and I fell in love with the thing. Now I'm working on a cookie tin Banjo as my first project, it isn't going very smoothly but that's because the great lack of tools I was experiencing at the moment. Anyway I'm not done with this one yet and I'm already looking for parts for the next... And beside this I make stop-motion animations. And I have yet to learn how to play a string instrument..... not a big deal, right?

Hi everyone. Just joined today! My very first build is far from "done", and I haven't done anything to make it pretty yet, but I DID string ONE string today, and it made sound for the very first time. It's still kind of a terrible mess visually and functionally, but boy does my one string sound nice! Woo-hoo!

Thanks LLC! I'm a thrift store addict, the jewelry came off of a lady's belt buckle. I appreciate your encouragement, I've got the bug pretty bad as I have 2 more 6 string lap sliders started.
