Hi

My Name is Andreas and i am new to Cigar Box Guitar.
I play several other Instruments, like Guitar, Ukulele, Whistle, Dulcimer, … and even some more. Some of the Instruments I have I haven’t started to learn, because I noticed its to much for the beginning.
I am in the 50`s and startet late (6 Years ago / 2012). I tried to learn Guitar when I was 15 but didn’t come far and so I stoped again.

Because I am interested in Blues and Slide Guitar I wanted a Cigar Box Guitar. (Don’t know why I didn’t try sliding on my other Guitars)

But I didn’t want top built one just to see, its not so easy, would take a lot of time and again I would prefere to spent my time on Guitar and Ukulele (my main instruments)

So I bought an affordable BluesBoxGuitar Kit. Kit? All I had to do is to string it ;-)

Anyway, after some minutes I already played my first riffs and improvising was fun. Since that I am hooked.

And now  3 days later I start to built my first DIY Box Guitar (Not “Cigar” Box Guitar cause my Box will be selfmade).

I think I will have a lot of questions regarding building and playing but I tought I say “Hello” here first.
