Yea, I got that 2 string bass with the gorilla box I have to get finished, it has been sitting there for over a year...maybe I will work on it today and finally get it knocked out.

Absolutely. Especially with Spring right around the corner. Dan, you remember that banjo that I profiled at your house. I'm having so much fun on it that I can't bring myself to unstring it and give it its finishing touches. Thanks for your help! Now to get on to that 6-string reso...

actually, my band, the Mob Warehouse band,  have been  asked to play a show with Snakehead Run and  Zachary Peterson at Red Palace in DC on Feb 9.  I know Jim will be playing washtub and jug, and I'm going to be playing my box guitar.  It should be a really fun show.

I have been listening to a lot of these old blues guys on pandora.  There are some cool mixes when you add some of the greats to your play list.
