Ben,

As a retired university prof. I have been using the internet when universities and governments where the only ones who had intranet/internet.  i understand spam happens.  I suppose I still have a mentality that I would not do it , so I have a childish belief that others will have a similar respect and not do it as well.  If they want to hawk their wares, let them sell musical info plans and parts that we all here cacn appreciate and use.

Peace

Mark

Welcome to the Internet, where spam is an unfortunate reality. We do our best to catch and delete the spambots as soon as they crop up. See more explanation about the realities of spam in this thread: http://www.cigarboxnation.com/forum/topics/stop-the-spam

Saw your post Luna,

Thank you ^.^
It took 45 minutes to shape the neck w/60 grit belt sander paper,  and another 25-30 cleaning it up with higher grits(from 100-330).

remeber you will still need to fine sand so allow for it, also you can take the same paper and glue it to different size dowells or blocks add room for a handle and you have sanding files that clean up easy with a soft bristle wire brush.

ok dude one of the fastest ways I have found to round the back of the neck is to use the shoe shine method.  Go to home depot or wherever aqnd get a belt sander belt, I usually use a 60 or 80 grit.  Cut it in half where the factory splice is at and you have one long strip go for a 2 or even 3 inch wide belt. Be sure to mark some layout lines so you know where you are at and literally use the sanding belt like a shoe shine rag. It will round off the corners in a hurry so much so you will really need to keep your eye on it's progress or you will go too far.  But it works fast, keep your eye on your lines, and a wider belt will be less prone to ripples. The belts are tough you will be able to use it again and again

You dont want to become know as the Tim (Tool Man) Allen @ your local ER :)

I agree with Jim Burt, respect the tools and potential dangers, even more so with power tools. For the most part, hand tools can cut and cause lots of problems while power tools can maim and take body parts if not used carefully and correctly.
