Just cut you a beauty ring out of a thin piece of wood that will hide what you need. Cut it to fit snug around the bottom and sides of the neck ,where the neck meets the box.

C. B. Gitty sells them. Good thing is they're laser cut too. Check them out and see if they'll work for what you need.

Really? What do I search for? Beauty ring? Decorative trim? Neck collar?

just find a nice bit of wood, or any material that you think will look good, cut it to fit nice around your neck, and trim the outside to whatever shape you like and glue it to the front face of the box, done well it can look like a feature instead of a cover up

Go to your local hardware store and ask them for a couple paint stir sticks.  They will probably hand you a half dozen.  Cut one down in strips and make a picture frame around your neck.  Then you can use the rest for backers for when you want bracing or to use where you might want longer screws, shims, even bridge material.
