I will send a sound check when I am finished, I'm glad you like it I was nervous to show it. Always trying to make it like they did in the day. I like authentic and if I can think of it you know they did.

I forgot to say I started out on news paper then went to 1/4 inch foam.

Looks great, should work good man.

I've done something similar to this on quite a few builds, just went up instead of down. Sound is nice and big with a hint of banjo.

You only need a hole if you are using a rod piezo in the saddle.
