Kimmer, the host with the most!  Thanks for having us all over for show 'n' tell!

Say, anyone in Chicago own a set of these? http://www.swstrings.com/product/lutherie/general/GP-R205K  the 6mm and a bigger one?  I'd rather borrow yours and buy you a case of beer than own a set just now.

Thanks for having us over Kimmer, was nice to meet some locals and get a few tips and tricks in the process.  I'll try to host one at my place when I get the big projects out of the way.

Good start. Four of us got together in the basement and garage of my home for a meeting of the group yesterday. Lasted about 4 hours. We each had builds to share, questions, and unbelievably not one cocktail. Good thing cuz we were driving the bandsaw.

Thanks all for coming. I'd be glad to host again but it could get crowded down there and, as Paul found out, you have to watch your head in spots because of the heating pipes. Ouch....he's a tall dude.

Oh, yes, I learned a few things and unfortunately was convinced by Diane that I should build a violin. Diane, you have know idea how many calls you are going to get from me. Paul, can't wait to see your shop and learn something new about metal work (which will most likely mean, let Paul do the metal work...stick with the wood).

Hope to see more soon.

Kimmer, I think I can swing by in the afternoon.  I have some necks I'd like to angle off and shape a bit before I put on the headstock and the fingerboards.  It is really great that you are opening up your shop for us all!  I've seen it, folks!  Very nice!  (but you should take your address off here, some kook will come and clean you out!)

So some machinery, before we break out the cocktails?

Sorry to hear about your furry companion.  It is always so hard when they go on.

(I taped your show, looking forward to watching it.)

Hi, KimmerO. My afternoon has filled up with appointments, but I might be able to come by in the morning, I hope so! See you Saturday if I can get free.

Hello Kimmer et al.: New to the group.  I've built half a dozen guitars, diddly fiddles and basses over the last couple years.  Interested to see what other people are up to.  I guess I'd be most interested in jamming rather than building, but anythings cool.  --Steve

PS That's a heartbreaking film you have there.  Don't know if I have the stamina for the second part!

Hey Kimmer, what is the address.  I will try to make it over in the early afternoon.
