inexpensive pickups

I have used these. Gitty has a lot of great products at great prices but for inexpensive magnetic pickups I prefer black enclosed (no visible pole pieces) humbuckers from Jack Musical  in Singapore (you'll find them on ebay for about $17 a pair). I had problems with Gitty's squealing and feeding back. Maybe this could be corrected by shielding the box, I don't know, but the humbuckers were quiet without shielding.

Just discovered that Gitty has mini humbuckers at a very reasonable price. They're less bulky and the chrome is far more attractive than the black plastic ones from Jack Musical. I've ordered a pair and can't wait to try them in a build.
