WANTED "Cigar Box Guitar" - Matched!!

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and the other day I came across a soldier picking on a CBG. I sat down and picked a little back and forth. He told me about this website where I could get one so here I am. I am in the Mississippi National Guard and would love to have a CBG to pick on if there is a person kind enough to build me one.

Hi Franklin,

Hope you are doing well.

I have been working on the finger board. The frets and markers are installed and the frets just need to be dressed. More parts from CB Gitty should arrive today.

The finger board is oak that has been stained and ebonized. The markers are made from 1/4" round aluminum bar stock.

I have the neck nearly finished now. It has been rather humid here lately and the stain is taking a long time to dry. The body is nearly done but I have to attach the neck before I can position the saddle. Here are some photos of the body inside and out.
