WANTED "Cigar Box Guitar" - Matched!!

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and the other day I came across a soldier picking on a CBG. I sat down and picked a little back and forth. He told me about this website where I could get one so here I am. I am in the Mississippi National Guard and would love to have a CBG to pick on if there is a person kind enough to build me one.

Franklin! I'd build one for you, but I have no workshop anymore. My community woodshop has closed down for a bit, but should be back up by fall. There are nefarious rumors that it might even open up this summer, but we'll have to see.

So if no one else steps forward by then, I can do it -- but it will be a bit of a wait. :-(

Franklin, I would be honored to build a guitar for you. I did not realize that you had not been matched yet. Unfortunately, I can't do the amp but I can put a piezo rod pickup in it. I really appreciate the service you are doing for our country.

I just need some time to build it but I have all the needed materials. It will take 3-4 weeks to finish. Then I will figure out how to get it to you.
