I'm a Navy Corpsman and recently got back from a 10 month deployment with my Marine's.  Glad to be back.  While I was out there, one of my buddies had a cb guitar, he said someone on this site had made and sent to him.  It was pretty sweet.  Does anyone know how I can get one?  I have to have one.  Any info would be appreciated.  Thanks.

First things first, THANK YOU for your service Tony!! =) Most everyone here builds CBGs, including myself. Feel free to contact me and may GOd bless you! =)

Tiny,

Thank you for getting back so soon and you are welcome.  I love what I do, especially when it's with my Marine's.  There isn't any where I wouldn't go with them.  I don't know much about CBG's but would love to own one.  I recently started to learn to play on a 6 string acoustic guitar.  I don't even know if CBG's come are usually built with 6 strings, but if its possible, I would definitely love one.  Please let me know How I can get one and how much would it cost to have one custom built.  Once again thank you for getting back so soon.

Hi Tony, thanks for your service, and we are glad you are back home safe and sound.

Tiny can probably fix you up with one, or if he can't, I am sure we can find someone for you.

Dan

Dan,

Thanks.  I sent Tiny a message, hopefully someone can help me out here.  Thanks Bud.

Jay at TinyGuitars has gotten jammed up and will not be able to handle Tony's request.

Do we have another builder who can take over?

Thanks Fred. Can you post some pictures so Tony can see what you have?

Fred thank you for the offer.  I am just learning how to play on 6 string acoustic.  I don't know if CBG's come in 6 string.  I would rather you send this one to someone who is a little more advanced than I am.  It is a really sweet looking guitar though.  If you guys know anyone who can make accousitic CBG's please let me know.  Once again, thank you Fred.

Dan I appreciate you helping me look for what I am looking for.  If you know anyone that has or makes any CBG's with any Cuba markings, please let me know.  I am of Cuban decent and would love my first accoustic CBG to have Cuba markings.  Do CBG's come in 6 string.

In my opinion, learning to play a 3 string is far easier than a 6 string. You can tune to any 3 string open tuning and just start jamming. That guitar Fred is offering looks like a fine build, 3 strings, magnetic pickup, with tone and volume.

There is a load of three string playing information on this site. I think you will be really happy with Fred's guitar. Plus, 6 string models are more involved to build, and you may not find as many of them here as you will 3 and 4 string models. Up to you...

Anthony, we are still planning on finding a builder to make an instrument for you. Sorry it is taking so long.

I just finished my 3rd six string CBG and am currently working on #4. I have the neck, strings and everything I need to start working on a 6 string for Anthony but I have no boxes large enough with Cuban markings to accept a 26" scale length neck

Any of our other builders our there who can help me out? Hopefully a wood box with the markings that we need?

Thanks guys
