Cbg in Iraq - Matched!!

Good afternoon everyone,

I would have to say this is the first time I've seen a cigar box guitar and I would have to say they look amazing. I'm an Air Force weatherman, I'm sure you're laughing but its true, currently deployed to Iraq and would love to learn to play on one of these during my deployment. The problem is I don't have access to supplies to build one on my own. Would anyone be able to put me in contact with a builder or how to get one?

Hi Jeremy,

Welcome to the Nation and thank you for your service to your country. I have a 3 string fretted model that is almost complete, and you are welcome to it. I can post pictures of it when it is completed, it should be finished soon.

It is right handed, hope that works for you.

Thank you so much. That is awesome. I told my guys here about it and they were blown away by the concept, they can't wait to see it. When I get back to the states I think I might try my hand at making my own.
