Welcome to C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply

C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply is your increasingly one-stop shop for finding the parts and gear you need for building and playing cigar box guitars, other hand-made instruments, and even store-bought instruments.

Over the last year and a half we have been working very hard to build our product line to include many of the things you have asked for: from fret wire, to fretting guides and tools, to electronic components, decorative hardware, instrument hardware and more. Our focus has always been on finding the best suppliers for quality goods at great prices, so that the savings can be passed onto our customers. We got into this because it seemed like the established big supply houses were making way too much profit on what they were selling, and we felt we could do better - and we have.

This group on Cigar Box Nation is intended to be the central point for product updates, annoucements, new product requests, general annoucements, testimonials, general how-to discussions and more. All are welcome, and your participation is appreciated! We would like to sincerely thank everyone who has done business with us thus far, and we look forward to working with more of you in the future.

Price should be the same as the gold tuners, they are the same style the only difference is the finish - in the neighborhood of $12.99 a set.

Sweet! Got a price on them yet?

Iggy, I am still waiting to take delivery of the matte black enclosed gear tuners. Hopefully this week!

I am going to be needing some black tuning pegs, and you mention them here, but I could not find them on your site anywhere.

I just finished putting one of these in a very old tenor ukulele I bought at a garage sale about twenty years ago. The Uke was a mess, and it restored beautifully. The unit sounds really great and was pretty simple to put in... though it's always hard to cut into the mahogany side of a venerable old instrument...

I now have 8 of my new pre-amp units listed in my shop for the great price of $14.99 each! Click here to go to the listing! These pre-amps will have a GREAT effect on the sound of your cigar box guitar or other homemade build, and the price is right, so check them out!

Check out this pre-amp unit I just got in. I got 10 samples of them in today, an I am very excited to find that they include a rod piezo pickup. Going to be testing these out over the next couple of days and assuming things are good I should be able to start carrying these at a very reasonable price!

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know that I have made some changes to my shopping cart app that affect international buyers. Canadian buyers will no longer be charged full international rates, and for most items will pay only slightly more than domestic US postage rates! Also international buyers should notice lower combined shipping costs, due to a tweak I made to the shipping calculation formula.

I do my best to keep shipping prices as reasonable as possible - this can be hard with international, but one has to make the effort!
