These nifty devices can go righ into a CBG and no one ever would know the difference. HERE is some more amp and device links.

John, thanks for the feedback. Got my first build done and uploaded the pictures here. FInished on Christmas day no less. Good tone for 9 volts. Added a DC plug in for external power. Next thing I got to do is build a CBG to go with it (then learn how to play some slide!!)

Joe,

I use those SMD amps from guitar fule.com alot. I put them right in the CBG body, that way you can plug into any speaker. They also make on with a switch built into the shaft.

CBGJOE, very nice builds. I feel like getting out the soldiering iron now!. THe can amp with the top as a volume control is very cool.

This amp has been a real challenge, still not quite finished. I made the screw lid act as the volume control. Fitted with a 1/2 watt 'smokey' type amp circuit.

I converted this 1950s radio extension speaker into a 9v amp. Kept most of it as it is except added a 1/4 inch socket, swith and LED to back panel.

Hey Ya'll, I am about to try my first 9v amp build. I purchased an Artec 2.5 w. amp curcuit on EBAY and wanted to know if anyone has used one. Let me know what you know. Thanks
